The documentary titled From Russia to Hollywood was created and co-produced by Lisa Dalton, President of the National Michael Chekhov Association. Lisa Dalton is also the creator of the first two international Michael Chekhov workshops in the Americas. To create this film, Ms. Dalton interviewed numerous illustrious actors to gain testimonials. In these interviews, the actors reveal what Michael Chekhov and George Shdanoff’s teachings meant to their careers and lives. Gregory Peck narrates and joins other Hollywood legends as they talk us through the story of these two acting masters. The movie runs a little over an hour. Registration is encouraged at ridgefieldlibrary.org or by calling 203-438-2282.
