Slavic Love! An evening of Romantic Russian Song

Hosted by Dylan Fresco

Local performer Dylan Fresco hosts a night of music, song, and poetry.  Like Chekhov's writing, the evening will celebrate our human foibles with humor, pathos, and FIVE TONS OF LOVE! (Knowledge of Russian language definitely NOT necessary.)

Cast and crew biographies

12 Dylan FrescoDylan Fresco is a Twin Cities based actor, singer, and entertainer. He was first introduced to the Russian language and popular songs at a summer camp in Maine when he was 15, and he fell in love fast and forever. He went on to graduate from Carleton College with a degree in Russian Studies. Over the past five years, he has performed Russian standards on many a stage -- from the Southern Theatre to the Suburban World to the late and great red room that was once the New French Café. You may have heard his alter ego, the Amazing Zazeech Moreno, bring the house down with Lili's Burlesque Review.

In addition to this repertoire (and originals), Dylan has performed with the Childrens' Theatre, The Guthrie, Ten Thousand Things, and Penumbra, to name a few. He's glad to return to the BLB as part of the Chekhov Festival. (He's performing in the festival's production of "The Seagull" as well.)
